Kelly Blue Book’s online entity, KBB.com, has named the 2013 Honda Accord as the best new sedan under $25,000. This highly qualified rating was given to the 2013 Accord by the automotive experts at KBB.com.
“While other mid-size cars have threatened its dominance, now we can definitively say that the Accord is back on top, with the completely overhauled 2013 model hitting No. 1 on our list of the ’10 Best Sedans Under $25,000′,” said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director for Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com. “The latest Honda Accord is as refined as any previous edition, but with a newfound sense of sporty style and cool new technologies that are as user-friendly as the car itself.”
As the top ranked model selling for under $25,000 the Accord was recognized by the editors of KBB.com for its sporty style, excellent ride and handling and innovative features, like the optional LaneWatch™ blind spot display.
Number Two on the list was the 2013 Volkswagen Passat which topped KBB.com’s list last year as the best sedan under $25,000. Their third choice was the 2014 Mazda 6. The biggest surprise was the 2013 Toyota Camry’s number 8 ranking. This doesn’t mean the Camry is a bad car (and frankly I disagree with the Volkswagen Jetta being ranked above the Camry), what the Camry’s low ranking indicates is just how competitive the market is for mid-size sedans.
